We did it! We made it to 7 different states and 6 different cities in just 3 days!
Everyone that knows me knows that I'm a very serious planner. I do all of my research before planning a trip and basically plan everything down to the second. Still, I had some friends skeptical of my hefty goal of visiting 7 states and 6 cities in only 3 days. I guess I don't blame them... it was a very lofty goal trying to accomplish all that we did; but nevertheless, we did it and I wouldn't trade the endless hours and exhaustion for the world because it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
I originally planned the trip around a work meeting I was supposed to have in Rhode Island on Friday. That meeting was cancelled so I decided to go anyway. I invited my boyfriend (Devin) to come along, and fortunately he was able to get the day off of work! The goal was straightforward: Fall foliage. In New England. Hitting all of the states.
The final list was as follows: New Haven, CT; Newport, RI; Boston, MA; Portsmouth, NH; Portland, ME; Ludlow, VT.
So... wanna know how we did it?!

So, how's THAT for a weekend?!? Looking back I'm not even sure how we did it, but I wouldn't change a think. It was beautiful, educational, exhausting, and fun. It's one of those weekends that we'll remember for the rest of our lives.
I think so often we get caught up in the difficulties of things instead of just gritting our teeth and jumping head first. Really in 2017 it has been my goal to just go for things. Without hesitation. I've been happier than I've ever been and weekends like this make it all that much more beautiful. I hope you can use my itinerary to plan a weekend of your own!
Up next (I legit leave in 5 hours), VEGAS!!!
