For awhile now I've been admiring all of the cute backpacks that I've seen styled so well with different friends' outfits. I've honestly never been much of a backpack person. Even in high school and college I would usually use some sort of oversized tote to hold all of my books and belongings.
Now that I'm older (just barely, I realize I'm still a youngin' at 25) I'm not sure why I ever avoided them. First, they're way more comfortable than a heavy bag weighing down one side of my body. Also, they completely free up both of my hands making everyday activities ten times easier.
I also think the reason I stuck with totes is because I thought they were more stylish and completed my daily ensembles better. It's highly likely I was way overthinking that; especially because the majority of my high school wardrobe was jeans and hoodies, and the majority of my college wardrobe was leggings and oversized t-shirts... Fortunately now though I have come to truly appreciate the look and versatility.
I've been looking for a good, cute backpack for months now. Everywhere I looked I didn't quite love what I saw because I didn't want to spend too much on a piece that I wasn't 100% positive I would get full use out of, but I also didn't want to buy something cheap with bad quality. After all of that of looking I FINALLY came across the Longchamp Le Pilage Backpack and knew this was the one.
I've loved Longchamp for years and years now. My first tote was given to me as a gift by my French foreign exchange student back in high school. Since then I've added two others to my collection and have used them to what should be their death, but because of the amazing quality they are still in tip-top condition. The vinyl material makes them water and stain resistant and the leather accents make them perfect for any occasion.
I decided to go with navy because all of my other bags are black, beige's, or reds. I just love the contrast of the tan leather with the navy and it looks so cute with every outfit I've paired it with thus far. It's especially made my holiday shopping easy because I browse with both hands OR have the ability to hold a coffee in one hand and still have full-range of the other. (I think the coffee part is most important).
It's starting to look and feel like Christmas around here so the Fall looks are slowly dwindling and I can't wait to share my Christmas looks... I have quite a few up my sleeve!
